Cagnes Sur Mer
Cagnes-sur-Mer - a small town close to Nice
Cagnes-sur-Mer is a small town close to Nice going in the direction of Antibes- Cannes.
There are several areas worth noting: Cros-de-Cagnes and Vespins are located next to the sea; residential hills for villas as Collettes, and of course the most famous part – the medieval town on the hill – Les Hauts de Cagnes, with the Grimaldi castle atop.
The town is also famous for its racing course, and the Renoir museum – the artist spent his last years here.
Cagnes-Sur-Mer used to be a fishing village and has kept its country charm. Real estate here is generally less expensive than in Antibes or Nice, and it is possible to find interesting properties here, both by the sea and up in the hills, if you are looking for peace and quiet, sea air and sunshine in a place which is just fifteen minutes from the airport.
