What are the places to visit on Cap Ferrat?
- Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild – an example of Italian Renaissance – is, of course, the main landmark of Cap Ferrat. It is now a museum open for public. You can take a look at the interiors, have a walk in the sumptuous gardens and make beautiful pictures. All in all, is it an interesting location for a photoshoot. Concerts and social events are often hosted here as well.
- I also recommend taking a walk along the Promenade Maurice Rouvier along the eastern shore of Cap Ferrat – from Beaulieu to Cap Ferrat port.
- If you prefer more natural walks without paved pathways you will like the picturesque trail around the Saint Hospice cape starting at Paloma beach.
- You can visit a private villa Santo Sospir to see Jean Cocteau frescoes – he was often a guest in this house.
- The village and the port of Cap Ferrat is the centre of civilization. Shops and restaurants are open all year long. You can visit the shell museum – Le Musée des coquillages – with your children.
